Rush through Italy

It is hard to use words to describe Italy. In the past three days, I saw three faces of Italy, all different, interesting, and somehow I still don’t think they represent Italy well enough, since I haven’t been to Rome and Florence.

Among the cities I’ve been to, Milan, Venice and Turino, I love Turino the best. Venice is absolutely beautiful. Floating on the grass-green water in a Condora, I appreciated life’s simple pleasure of doing nothing under the blessing of the sun. But it’s too touristic.

Milan is great for shopping. The Duomo plaza, where the first shopping mall in the world is located, embraces Italians as well as foreigners by its grand luxury gesture. No wonder why Milan is one of the four fashion capital in the world, just look at the door guys at those first-class luxury brands. But Milan is only good for shoppers, and I happen not to be one.

An hour and forty minutes away from Milan by train, Turino has both modern and historic fashion, and it’s special. The architects are not as gothic as those in Milan, the streets are not as narrow as those in Venice. It’s a city where you find the best museum of film. It’s a city where you can see a little reflection of Paris. It’s a city I best enjoyed walking. It’s a city where you will hesitate whether to drink coffee while reading or to read while drinking coffee. It’s the sweetest city in Italy.

OmiGoShHHH!!! I want to go to Venice too! Milan sounds amazing….but probably to expensive. I would spend all my Euros on clothes and then be even poorer than I’ll be after I return from London. hehehe ;-) You are so lucky that you can travel to so many famous places-you deserve it Kuanstamonsta!-and I hope all this traveling inspires your designs <3

Haha, Macker. When you are in London, I am going to visit you, so we can spend all our euros together on clothing, and take pictures/design to make money back.
